PackWest retorquers are ideal for containers and closures with induction seals. These cap torquing machines are also suitable for production lines with manual placement of caps or trigger sprayers on containers. They offer consistent and secure cap tightening for a wide variety of containers and closures. Our retorquers are offered in 4, 6, and 8 spindle or quill configurations.
PackWest inline spindle retorquers feature intuitive HMI, making machine operation and troubleshooting straightforward for operators. Operating parameters stored as recipes for every cap and container simplify start-ups and changeovers. Cap and container changeovers can typically be completed in twenty minutes or less, aided by easily adjustable, toolless cap escapements. This reduces the cost of change parts and ensures accurate, gentle, and consistent cap application torque.
Designed for maximum production speeds, these retorquers are ideal for caps requiring precise pick-off placement on containers. They are suitable for handling tall, tapered, or contoured containers and are beneficial for space-constrained line layouts. The design allows easy access to key components from both the operator and back sides of the machine. Additionally, multiple machine components can be added and installed in the field.
